Let’s get Cutting

It’s time to begin layering in some basic detail colors, I tend to start with the largest parts possible and work my way down to the smaller bits painting details from the top to the bottom.

This of course means you’ll have to paint extremely close to other details sometimes hence why we recommended a miniature brush for this part. The smaller your brush head is the easier it will be to paint tiny details!

As for the actual technique to painting the key thing to remember is this isn’t the same as drawing with a crayon the paint doesn’t apply to the surface when you move it around on it circularly. You’ll want to dip your brush in the paint and lay down lines smoothly in one direction until the surface is completely covered.
